Johannes Kepler was one of the greatest scientists of his age. Born in 1571, he made ground-breaking discoveries in mathematics, geometry, optics, and crystallography, and particularly astronomy. His book Harmonies of the World sets out what we now know as Kepler’s Third Law of Planetary Motion, which laid the groundwork for Isaac Newton’s Law of Universal Gravitation.
And Kepler was a Christian
At the conclusion of Harmonies of the World, Kepler bursts forth in praise to God:
It now remains that at last, with my eyes and hands removed from the tablet of demonstrations and lifted up towards the heavens, I should pray, devout and supplicating, to the Father of lights… I give thanks to Thee, O Lord Creator, Who hast delighted me with Thy makings and in the works of Thy hands have I exulted.

This is the vision that drives Axiom Science. We are passionate about helping young people learn to use the tools and methods of science to explore the beauty and intricacy of the world God has created.
Whatever we’re doing—whether we’re balancing chemical equations, wrestling with redox reactions, or making bioplastics—at one and the same time we are (to quote a phrase often attributed to Kepler) “thinking God’s thoughts after him.”
... thinking God's thoughts after him.
Many faithful Christian parents and teachers are understandably concerned about how best to introduce their children to the rigorous study of science. They want to give their children a great education across the whole curriculum, but at the same time they want to avoid exposing them to teaching that could undermine their faith in Christ.
At Axiom Science, we share this concern. We are steadfastly committed to the infallibility and inerrancy of Scripture as God’s word, and we seek to honor Christ in everything we do. We count it a privilege to partner with you as you seek to give the best possible science education to your children.
