Meet Your Tutor

I studied at Oxford University, England, and graduated with a Master’s degree in Engineering. While studying, I received an industrial scholarship, and was awarded the Salters Institute Graduate Award. It was also during this time that I met my husband, Steve.
After graduation, I spent a number of years working in the energy sector, and in 2003 was elected a chartered member of the Institution of Chemical Engineers. That same year also marked the birth of our first child, and from that point I committed myself to raising our children.
I was a full-time homeschool mom for nearly twenty years, and in addition to teaching my own children across the whole curriculum, I also taught science and math in several small homeschool groups.
While we were still homeschooling our children, we moved from London, UK, to Fort Worth, Texas, where my husband now serves as a pastor. I had the opportunity to teach our children through many different exams — including IGCSEs in the UK, and physics, chemistry, and calculus AP tests in the US. All three of our children are all now at college studying different branches of engineering, so my homeschooling journey with my own children has now come to an end.
